Often associated with spirituality, the color blue symbolizes the skies, the seas and the heavens and has a calming, soothing effect. In this thought provoking work, the artist has portrayed a scene that is meant to mystify its audience. From one perspective, this could be an alien landscape with the most unusual, exotic flora and an enigmatic blue moon. From another viewpoint, this is a depiction of an underwater scene with fish or marine life swimming through blue aquatic reeds.
