Each work is an exploration of black female features with the context of skin color removed, which in many cases leads to the faces being racially ambiguous. This emphasizes the larger point that race really is only skin deep.
My work emanates joy, and sophistication and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of black culture. Exotic faces, wide noses, & full lips are all brought to life with bold contrasting and harmonious colors.
