As a black woman, I feel it is important to showcase the beauty and strength of black women, particularly in the arts. Through my painting, I aim to inspire and empower young black girls to follow their dreams and pursue their passions, no matter the obstacles they may face. The Jubilee show is a reminder that freedom is a right that should be celebrated and cherished, and my painting serves as a tribute to that message.
