A Host of Golden Daffodils
$1,500.00
21” x 21” x 3”
Description: Inspired by the famous English poet Willliam Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
The bright yellow butterflies (Phoebis Philea) represent the daffodils that in the poem were fluttering in the breeze. One could imagine the complimentary green, gold and purple could be seen in the vales, hills, trees and lake mentioned in this stanza.
