Let Joy Out of the Box” is 11”X 9” framed, in a shadow box. There are 54 origami cranes, folded from 2” squares of beautiful, pastel origami paper. 18 is a special number in Judaism, representing life and blessings. Three times 18 is three times the joy. The corrugated cardboard represents the box and the cranes, in their beautiful colors and patterns, are joy. Some of the cranes are elevated on small wires to give the piece some depth.
