12″ Diameter / Ball of 1000 cranes on a 64″ floor length white metal stand.
“A Woman’s World,” is my fourth work comprised of 1000 origami cranes, again
folded out of the pink backing paper of feminine sanitary pads, this time glued to a globe. To
create dimensionality, about ½ the cranes are mounted on small wires before they are attached
to the globe. It has taken me two years to complete folding these cranes.
